← Check In On Me

Setup Guide

Get SafePulse / PulseGuard up and running in a few minutes — on an Android phone, an iPhone, or an Amazon Fire tablet.

Important: SafePulse is a personal check-in tool — it is not an emergency service and does not contact 911. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number right away.

After installing

  1. Tap Allow on the “SafePulse Would Like to Send You Notifications” popup.
  2. Tap Get Started.
  3. Choose how often to check in (30 minutes – 48 hours), then tap Continue.
  4. Type in your full name, then tap Continue. Your name is shown to your contacts so they know who an alert is from — for example, “Frank needs help.”
  5. Tap Allow Access (gold button), then tap Continue.
  6. Toggle on Include Location.
  7. Tap Allow While Using App for location.
  8. Tap Enable & Start.

Add your emergency contacts

  1. Go to the Contacts tab on the main screen.
  2. Tap PICK FROM CONTACTS. Or tap ADD MANUALLY to type a name, phone number, and optional email.
  3. Select the contact(s) you want, then tap DONE.
  4. Tap the green paper-airplane button next to the contact.
  5. Your Messages app opens with the request pre-filled — tap Send. The request comes from your own phone number, so your contact recognizes it.
  6. Once your contact approves, they change from Pending to Approved automatically — and they'll now receive your safety alerts.
Contacts outside the US or Canada? Add an email to that contact (tap the ✎ pencil on the contact, enter their email, and Save). Alerts are then delivered by both text message and email, so they arrive even where the US text number can't reach.
